The Hill's Fort Society is priviledged to have two outstanding speakers associated with our group.

Kevin Kaegy:  Kevin is a noted local speaker versed in Abraham Lincoln and his family.  The Civil War Illinois 130th Regiment is a favorite of Kevin's, along with the many Bond County History stories.  His knowledge of Early Illinois Forts and Blockhouses is also very impressive.  Kevin has been a design and sales specialist at Markus Cabinets in Aviston, IL., for 16 years.

William "Bill" Wilson: Bill is a retired college educator whose interests currently lie in early Bond County history and the history of the Grotts family in America.  He is the primary author of 'The Tales of Hill's Fort', 'Forts and Blockhouses of Early Illinois', 'Hill's Fort, the Tales Continue', and a recent book on the history of the Grotts Family.

Both Bill and Kevin were officers of the Illinois War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission.
